Kris Marshall talks new doctor rumours
Kris Marshall has responded to the recent Doctor Who rumours surrounding him.
The actor has been widely tipped for the 13th Doctor role in recent weeks due to a betting surge and his curiously timed exit from BBC’s Death in Paradise.
According to an interview with the HeraldSun, Marshall stated he was “very flattered to be considered by the good public” as the next Doctor, before adding “I wouldn’t put any money on it yet.”
Marshall does however concede it’s more likely for him to become the next Doctor than James Bond.
Of course Marshall was never going to confirm anyway, but his response doesn’t rule it out. Marshall is still the bookies’ favourite at the time of writing.
